Overview:

Our client is a leading capital aesthetics device company making significant advancements in the field of medical aesthetics and surgical technologies with their FDA-cleared facial rejuvenation device. They are developing next-generation minimally invasive surgical solutions.

They are seeking a creative, dynamic, and highly motivated Clinical Trainer to provide pre-sales and post-sales clinical support, as well as clinical marketing on the company’s aesthetic products. This role will act as the aesthetic product expert to provide hands-on training to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach and train clients (plastic surgeons, dermatologist, medical doctors, and clinicians) on the use of the aesthetic devices
  • Provide the primary leadership for training at customers’ facilities including presentations, live-demo/hands-on training on live patients, web-based training, and procedure support
  • Ensure that new accounts have the necessary products and accessories for a successful in-service and check to confirm receipt at customer site before in-service date
  • Responsible for pre-sales and post-sales training and subsequent training as necessary
  • Serve as a clinical education resource and resolve post-sale customer issues and clinical questions
  • Develop educational tools to facilitate rapid implementation and successful customer launches
  • Create, revise, and maintain clinical training manuals
  • Conduct site visits and gather clinical data as requested
  • Represent the company at regional tradeshows, seminars, and other events
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop impactful messaging and materials to facilitate sales
  • Interface with Sales, Field Service, and other corporate staff as needed
  • Support the needs of Sales, Marketing, and Field Service departments
  • Work with local and international clients/distributors in fulfilling their training and/or clinical evaluation needs
  • Educating the sales team on the key differentiators on the products
  • Work with advanced practices and residency programs to build and maintain long-term relationships
  • Attend accredited educational programs and keep current in relevant clinical areas

Qualifications:

  • Licensed RN Required
  • Ability to travel 50% – 70%
  • 3+ years of medical aesthetics laser experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on education and/or training experience
  • Ability to teach and train clinical peers
  • Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills, and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Training skills and the ability to build professional relationships with corporate clients
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Experience working with a medical practice preferred
  • Knowledge of lasers and/or radiofrequency devices preferred
  • Occasional international travel may be required
