Overview:
The Director of Strategic Account Management leads a team responsible for managing and growing relationships with large, complex healthcare or enterprise customers. This role drives strategic account planning, aligns solutions with customer business objectives, and supports organizational transformation toward a consultative, value-based B2B partnership model. The position focuses on delivering sales growth, strengthening customer engagement, and integrating cross-functional strategies into account execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing account management team.
  • Create and implement strategic growth and market expansion plans.
  • Align sales and marketing initiatives with customer business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Support complex contract negotiations and strategic resource deployment.
  • Oversee strategic execution within large customer organizations.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and provide performance insights to leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 8–10+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or related industries (healthcare or similarly complex sectors preferred)
  • Experience leading and developing account management or sales teams
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Strong understanding of large organizational decision-making processes
  • Demonstrated success managing complex enterprise-level customers and executive relationships
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute strategic initiatives
  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%)
