Overview:
Our client, a leading medical technology company, is seeking a Director of Product Management to join its team. The Director of Product will oversee the operational execution of the product organization and report directly to the Chief Product Officer. The role involves close collaboration with product managers to strengthen decision-making, maintain timelines, define product roadmaps, and resolve competing priorities. This is a hands-on leadership position with a strong focus on execution.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the definition and prioritization of the product roadmap across hardware, software, and workflow domains.
• Act as a key decision-making liaison between product, engineering, and executive leadership teams.
• Manage cross-functional timelines by proactively identifying risks and ensuring timely resolution of blockers.
• Establish and uphold high standards for product specifications, release readiness, and post-launch evaluation.
• Develop and implement efficient product management processes that scale effectively without unnecessary complexity.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop product management talent to support organizational growth.
• Collaborate closely with design leadership to ensure cohesive and well-integrated product and design decisions.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5–10 years of experience in product management, including at least 2 years in a leadership or people management capacity
• Demonstrated success in delivering integrated hardware and software products at scale; experience in medical technology, health technology, or related fields is preferred
• Strong operational capabilities, with a proven ability to execute and deliver results
• High emotional intelligence and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders effectively
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
• Experience working with both U.S. and international teams is preferred
