Overview:

Our client is a fast-growing global aesthetics company with a diverse portfolio of innovative products and solutions. They are seeking an Executive Director of Marketing – Aesthetics to lead a portfolio of injectable aesthetic products. This role will drive strategic growth, support new product and indication launches, strengthen market positioning, and develop impactful marketing strategies within the medical aesthetics industry. The ideal candidate will combine strong scientific and medical marketing expertise with proven leadership capabilities and the ability to navigate a competitive, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to drive portfolio growth, expand market share, and support new product and indication launches.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Development, Medical, Commercial, Sales, Regulatory, and other teams to align business and go-to-market strategies.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities, optimize positioning, and differentiate products.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead the planning and execution of new product and indication launches, ensuring alignment across branding, marketing, medical, and commercial strategies.
  • Develop training and educational initiatives to support sales and medical teams in effectively communicating product benefits, clinical data, and appropriate use.
  • Lead medical marketing initiatives, including promotional materials, educational programs, and clinical support content.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and industry experts to strengthen product advocacy and market credibility.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team while fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Manage budgets and resource allocation to optimize investment and maximize ROI.
  • Analyze business and financial performance to evaluate marketing effectiveness and overall portfolio performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, preferably within pharmaceutical, medical aesthetics, dermatology, or other specialty healthcare markets
  • Demonstrated experience with injectable products; aesthetic filler experience preferred
  • Experience launching and managing products within a specialty healthcare or medical aesthetics portfolio; medical aesthetics experience preferred
  • Experience supporting injectable, aesthetic, dermatology, or other procedure-driven products; filler experience preferred
  • Experience managing distributor relationships and strategic partnerships
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, Commercial, and Sales teams
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams, agencies, and strategic initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills and experience applying data-driven insights to marketing strategy
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
