Overview:

Our client is a growing dental healthcare organization offering a broad portfolio of products and solutions across multiple specialty and clinical categories. They are seeking a Senior Director, Marketing & Education – Special Markets. This role will lead the marketing and professional education strategy for Special Markets, with a focus on large group practices and strategic accounts. This leader will drive growth, customer engagement, and commercial effectiveness while building scalable marketing and education capabilities. The role partners closely with Sales, Corporate Accounts, Education, and business leadership to translate customer needs into effective marketing, education, and sales enablement programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the marketing and education strategy for Special Markets and strategic group accounts.
  • Build the long-term vision, capabilities, processes, and organizational structure for the function.
  • Lead clinical and professional education programs across live, virtual, on-demand, and continuing education formats.
  • Develop account-based marketing strategies that support customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.
  • Create customer-specific value propositions, programs, content, and business cases.
  • Partner with Sales and Account Management to support account planning, business reviews, and growth initiatives.
  • Develop sales enablement materials, presentations, competitive tools, case studies, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with channel and distribution partners to support strategic customer programs.
  • Establish performance metrics and continuously optimize marketing, education, and enablement effectiveness.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing and education team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within the dental, healthcare, medical device, or related industry
  • Demonstrated success developing marketing and education strategies that drive revenue growth and customer engagement
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Experience supporting B2B sales organizations, strategic accounts, and channel partners
  • Strong understanding of account-based marketing, professional education, and sales enablement
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across functions and with senior-level stakeholders
  • Strong strategic, analytical, communication, and execution skills
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% throughout the U.S. and Canada, with occasional international travel
