The Senior Director, Marketing, New Product Planning is the responsible for developing and implement strategies to ensure successful launch of pipeline biologics products in collaboration with cross-functional teams including analyzing market trends, creating the launch plan, and overseeing the execution of those plans to maximize the success of the product launch.

Main responsibilities:

  • To be the launch leader in the US for the pipeline biologics assets, maximizing cross-functional preparations for future launches
  • Represent the US team in front of the Global Team by participating in the Global Leadership team of both pipeline assets anticipating the business needs, and the support required from the global team.
  • Proactively participate and follow up on the R&D project team, ensuring flawless execution according to the Launch plan.
  • In collaboration with cross-functional teams, coordinate the Insight Generation Strategy and Execution.
  • In collaboration with Finance, M&A, Generate and manage budget including tracking of current year budgets and development of multi-year budgets for planning purposes.
  • Create the Market Development Strategy and Plan
  • Communication of complex information to a wide audience, from senior executives to field sales teams regarding pipeline assets

Basic qualifications:

Education/experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience in the Pharma Industry with strategic and management responsibilities.
  • A robust combination of scientific and business & marketing experience
  • Confirmed understanding of technological areas such as biochemistry, regulatory, clinical development, digital, as well as a strong pharma & biological sciences knowledge.

  • Highly strategic thinking and prioritizing capacity.
  • Ability to lead high-value transversal projects and to communicate to Senior Management

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (e.g. Master of Science, MBA, MD, PhD, PharmD)
