Overview:
Our client is a fast-growing company specializing in advanced medical and aesthetic technologies. They are seeking an Area Sales Manager to join their growing team. The Area Sales Manager will drive sales growth within their assigned territory by building strong relationships with healthcare providers, identifying new business opportunities, and managing key accounts. The Area Sales Manager will spend the majority of their time in the field, presenting and demonstrating medical and aesthetic equipment, supporting customers through installation and training, and ensuring ongoing satisfaction. This role combines hands-on selling with strategic territory management to achieve revenue targets and strengthen the company’s presence in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Allocate the majority of the workweek to field visits, engaging with physician offices, clinics, hospitals, and aesthetic centers within the assigned territory.
- Drive sales to achieve or exceed targets through direct selling and collaboration with authorized distributors.
- Generate new business by leveraging marketing leads and identifying opportunities independently.
- Oversee product installation, training, and post-sale support in coordination with technical and service teams.
- Maintain and nurture existing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Represent the company at medical congresses, industry trade shows, workshops, and promotional events.
- Provide accurate, timely updates through the company’s CRM and reporting systems.
- Support and manage Territory Representatives or channel partners as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of field sales experience in medical devices or capital equipment; experience selling to private practices or specialty clinics in Mexico preferred
- Proven success in prospecting, pipeline development, and closing high-value equipment sales
- Strong ability to operate and demonstrate technical medical equipment; experience with aesthetic or dermatological technologies preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-driven
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM systems
- Willingness to travel extensively within Mexico City and surrounding states, with occasional travel elsewhere in Mexico
