Overview:
The Director of Finance and Operations is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial health and ensuring operational efficiency across departments. This role leads budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, while also implementing financial policies and providing strategic insights to support business growth. In addition to high-level financial oversight, the Director will manage operations and back-office functions including supply chain, warehouse, and inventory. The role will also lead sales operations, CRM platforms (HubSpot and Salesforce), and data analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company growth goals.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support strategic objectives.
  • Manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity and financial stability.
  • Monitor financial performance and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial standards.
  • Collaborate with corporate finance and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors).
  • Lead and develop the finance team (Credit, Collections, AR, AP).
  • Drive continuous improvement, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks tied to market and economic conditions.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as new product launches and market expansion.
  • Oversee daily operations, including back-office, supply chain, and inventory.
  • Manage CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce), data analysis, and reporting.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field – Master’s preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in financial administration and operations management
  • Proven track record in financial and operational leadership
  • Demonstrated team management experience
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local financial regulations
