Overview:

The Regional Director serves in a key leadership role within the commercial team. This position is responsible for driving regional sales performance by leading a high-performing team of sales representatives and Account Managers. As a critical liaison between field sales and cross-functional departments, the Regional Director ensures strategic alignment and effective execution across the region. This individual is accountable for hiring, developing, and retaining top talent, fostering a culture of performance and empowerment, and executing sales initiatives that drive adoption, transaction volume, and long-term provider success.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard high-performing sales talent.
  • Train, coach, and mentor direct reports to achieve and exceed individual and regional sales goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to drive development.
  • Lead weekly team meetings, 1:1s, field visits, and collaborative planning
  • Own regional sales performance; exceed volume, revenue, and account acquisition targets.
  • Analyze sales metrics and pipeline data to optimize team performance and territory strategy.
  • Develop regional go-to-market plans in alignment with company priorities.
  • Partner with the SVP of Sales to set and refine strategic priorities based on market trends.
  • Act as a bridge between Sales, Marketing, Product, Risk, and Underwriting to ensure unified messaging and execution.
  • Provide regional insights to influence product development, go-to-market campaigns, and operational processes.
  • Champion feedback loops between field reps and internal stakeholders to improve tools, processes, and partner experience.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Strong track record of exceeding regional sales and revenue targets
  • Ability to analyze sales metrics and execute data-driven strategies
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with internal departments
