Overview:
The Therapeutic Sales Specialists utilize their extensive sales expertise to drive the adoption of a specialized treatment across healthcare providers and organizations. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, the development of territory-specific strategies, customer education, and the expansion of a strong customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Build confidence and understanding around the treatment’s value and clinical benefits
  • Gain deep insight into key accounts within the territory, including potential challenges to adoption
  • Contribute to the development and lead the execution of account strategies to drive engagement and utilization
  • Create and execute business plans for account growth, including strategic mapping and stakeholder analysis
  • Identify and engage key influencers and advocates within accounts to support awareness and communication
  • Increase awareness and understanding of early identification and intervention strategies within the treatment area
  • Develop a strategic plan at the territory level to support broader ecosystem awareness and prioritize outreach, education, and engagement
  • Lead initiatives to inform and educate healthcare providers on identification and referral best practices
  • Support and engage stakeholders in recognizing high-risk individuals and emphasizing the value of early action
  • Partner with internal teams to provide cohesive and effective customer support
  • Represent the organization at local, regional, and national meetings as assigned
  • Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, ethical, administrative, and financial policies
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales
  • Background in account management or experience with specialty product sales preferred
  • Proven ability to use data to guide territory planning and drive business outcomes
  • Demonstrated success in increasing provider engagement and educational awareness
  • Experience in launching new products or services in a field-based environment
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization across sales, medical, and support teams
  • Strong business acumen and a strategic, solution-focused mindset
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to lead productive two-way conversations with stakeholders
  • Receptive to coaching and committed to continuous improvement and performance accountability
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% for customer visits, conferences, training, and internal meetings
