Overview:
Our client is a leading skincare company seeking a Director of Education to join their team. The Director of Education is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing education and training programs that drive product adoption, enhance customer engagement, and support organizational growth. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to translate product innovation, brand strategy, and business objectives into impactful learning experiences for internal stakeholders and external customers. The position leads the development of scalable education initiatives, field training programs, and performance-driven learning strategies that contribute to measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive education strategy aligned with business objectives, product initiatives, and growth priorities.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve education programs for employee onboarding, customer onboarding, and ongoing professional development.
- Create scalable learning pathways that support varying levels of knowledge and expertise across audiences.
- Develop certification and accreditation programs to ensure consistency in training, product knowledge, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Experience teams to align educational content with business goals and customer needs.
- Translate product innovations, scientific concepts, and brand messaging into engaging and actionable training materials.
- Partner with product and commercial teams to integrate education into product launch planning and execution.
- Lead virtual and in-person training sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Support field-based teams through coaching, training reinforcement, onboarding support, and performance development initiatives.
- Develop and implement train-the-trainer programs to expand the reach and scalability of educational initiatives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure training effectiveness, engagement, knowledge retention, and business impact.
- Analyze training data and customer insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization.
- Build systems and processes to track educational activities, learner engagement, and return on investment (ROI).
- Prepare and present regular performance updates, recommendations, and strategic insights to senior leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and develop education and training team members, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
- Establish team goals, priorities, and performance expectations while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in education, training, sales enablement, learning and development, or a related field
- Proven experience developing and implementing training programs that drive engagement and business results
- Prior experience leading and developing teams
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Experience delivering training in both virtual and in-person environments
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Strong analytical and project management capabilities
