Job Summary:

The Area Sales Manager provides strategic account management and sales leadership for Sacramento region. In this role, your primary call points will be dermatology offices, plastic surgery offices, and medical spas.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding sales within an existing customer base as well as prospecting and building a pipeline for new business opportunities. You will be expected to develop a pipeline of capital systems and to close all transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Create continued sales growth within a defined territory.
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule.
  • Focus sales efforts by targeting ideal customer segments.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 3+ years of previous B2B sales experience with demonstrated excellent results (greater than 100% achievement).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage and close complex sales.
