Overview:
Our client is looking for an Associate Sales Representative to join their team. They are an innovator and ground breaker in the dental industry.
Responsibilities:
- Generate leads within a defined territory
- Establish a targeted cold call strategy
- Effectively cold call within a defined territory
- Create continued sales growth within a defined territory
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Must have the ability to engage and service customers that will drive continued product utilization
- Dental industry knowledge and/or experience preferred
