The Director of Marketing is an experienced person within the medical aesthetics industry with a good understanding of regulatory and quality requirements (Notified Body, Quality System Regulations, Medical Device Directive).

Main mission

  • Interface between physician’s requirements and design team (Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Clinical, outside vendors, partners) to develop the next generation products.
  • Undertake assessment of potential new products and technologies of interest to the Company’s Business Development activities
  • Write or review proposals for prospective product development projects and ensure that they are commercially interesting and economically viable
  • Identify key business drivers for strategic market development through a thorough understanding of the product, cosmetic treatment practices, customer needs, and competitive market trends.
  • Drive pre-launch initiatives including market vision, positioning, messaging and branding for new products
  • Develop the proposal and marketing adapted to the medical community
  • Gather the best data to support this positioning and message.
  • Develop and execute in accordance with global marketing campaigns to target, reach and educate physicians. Local campaigns will be tailored for each country to match each country’s legal requirements.
  • Coordinate the presence of the company in international medical congresses and successfully organize Master Classes / Symposia with high quality content.
  • Prepare understandable training programs and guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers in the market.
  • Have the ability to identify market needs to define a consistent positioning of products and society around the world.
  • Have the ability to anticipate trends in the medical market in order to recommend the development of new products and improve existing ones.
  • Be a leader and recognized as an expert to convince countries and distributors to follow the strategy and positioning of our policy

 

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • Scientific degree, ideally higher degree
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to understand scientific and technical issues and requirements
  • Good appreciation of relevant Regulatory, Clinical and Quality standards and requirements
  • Good knowledge of aesthetic market needs and trends
  • Good communication skills
  • Hands-on problem-solving approach, with a “can do” attitude
