Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Director of Product Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of go-to-market strategies for innovative products. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in driving success in a fast-paced and competitive industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of the existing product pipeline.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, clinical, marketing, sales, engineering, and manufacturing, to ensure smooth product rollouts.
  • Utilize your expertise in planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to guide project success.
  • Drive the development of core product messages and positioning.
  • Coordinate testing, implementation, training, and marketing asset creation.
  • Leverage your experience in developing solutions for medical providers and consumers, with a focus on the healthcare industry.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leader physicians.
  • Provide leadership and training to the sales team.
  • Collaborate with field sales representatives and support their training efforts.
  • Attend industry conventions and meetings to stay informed and engaged.
  • Stay informed about market conditions and competitive activities.
  • Partner with the VP of Marketing to incorporate updates and messaging into tradeshows, symposiums, and study clubs.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop and execute annual marketing plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • 5-10 years of product marketing experience
  • Deep insights into provider and consumer mindsets
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Solid understanding of marketing and branding fundamentals, with the ability to bring positioning and messaging to life.
  • Experience in managing and developing product portfolios, including traditional devices and workflows.
  • Ability to earn trust and motivate cross-functional teams at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making
  • Experience managing and reconciling budgets
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience with robotic surgery marketing, familiarity with FDA regulations, dental industry experience, or start-up experience preferred.
