Overview:

The Director, Pricing & Contracting Optimization will develop and build the future state operating model for the Pricing & Contracting Team. The Pricing & Contracting team was recently re-designed to drive end to end ownership of the pricing process from Strategy development to Reporting and Operations/Execution. As such, the business process to execute end to end needs to be developed and implemented to improve efficiency, enhance strategic capabilities, optimize use of team resources, and create a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Map out current state operating model, including business processes, workflows, governance, and forums to set a baseline for change.
• Re-Design and implement future state Pricing & Contracting operating model working in concert with the pricing strategy team, reporting team, and operations team.
• Build comprehensive institutional knowledge repository to drive a learning organization
• Drive executional excellence across key Market Access priorities and serve as chief of staff to the Head of Pricing & Contracting
• Explore new data sources, tools, and methodologies to keep pace with market shifts and business needs

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in either – Vaccines/Pharmaceutical experience in pricing, contracting, operations, marketing, account management or types of strategy roles OR other industries with a focus on process/workflow optimization and efficiency like Consulting, Tech, Banking, Logistics/Supply Chain, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• Intellectually curious person with a growth mindset and looking to development as a leader in the organization
• A track record of improving operational processes and enhancing efficiencies through automation and optimization
• Strong coordination skills to bridge strategic planning and operational execution
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence without authority and drive alignment with cross-functional stakeholders
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill actionable insights
• Experience working in a high-visibility, fast-paced environment with a focus on outcomes.
