We are seeking a high-performing, highly motivated, hands-on and results-driven Human Resources Manager to be a key leader in our rapidly growing team.  The ideal candidate must thrive with multi-tasking in a fast-faced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment and hiring process, ensuring we attract and hire top talent across all departments.
  • Employee Experience: Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that promotes employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being.
  • Payroll Administration: Process payroll via Gusto, including calculating variable compensation (commission/bonus) based on employee performance metrics and ensuring employees receive the correct variable pay based on their performance while adhering to payroll regulations.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance evaluation systems and provide ongoing feedback to support employee development and growth.
  • Benefit Administration: Administer benefits packages, including PTO, 401K, health insurance and HSA etc. Driving positive changes in the company’s benefit offerings.
  • Organizational Development: Drive initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, including team building, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Employee Records.  Oversee employee data and provide custom reports based on business needs.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and other applicable laws.
  • HR Policies and processes. Maintain employee handbooks. Administer and interpret human resources policies and procedures and make continuous improvement in policies and procedures based on the business needs.
  • HR Operations: Oversee day-to-day HR functions such as onboarding, offboarding, and compliance. Handle complex staffing challenges, including understaffing, conflict resolution, separation and other disciplinary actions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Experience: 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a tech startup environment.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize multiple projects with competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material
  • Forward thinker with strong analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Experience in HR/business transformation initiatives, project management methodologies, and human capital best practices.
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for new challenges, innate curiosity and a passion for learning
