Summary:
The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative supports the Marketing and Sales department with various duties to include special projects, sales goals, and meeting coordination. This role will actively pursue and develop opportunities to increase sales. This position supports the office administration with trade shows, sales support and customer support activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with a best-in-class experience using our business systems and product/marketing tools.
- Build Relationships with customers managing incoming calls and assigned accounts.
- Consistently deliver customers with personalized service and accurate, timely work.
- Handling a steady volume of calls and emails including: Placing new product orders via phone or email, providing updates on new and existing orders, pricing, product information and delivery tracking details, researching customer questions, processing returns and credits for returned goods, documenting discussions & all other customer based needs.
- Managing sample allocation, placing orders, providing marketing materials, and assisting accounts with marketing strategies.
- Work with National Sales Director to cultivate relationships and collaborate on growth opportunities.
- Educate customers on products, initiatives and promotions that best meet their needs.
- Identifying growth opportunities that help expanding product portfolio utilization with customers and launching new products.
- Pre-planning sales calls and maintaining efficient time management skills to ensure maximum customer contact and highest level of customer engagement.
- Managing sample allocation, placing orders, providing marketing materials, and assisting accounts with marketing and business development strategies.
- Complete administrative responsibilities on a timely basis: including, expense reports and customer reports.
- Attend sales training and sales meetings as required.
- Maintaining updated knowledge of the industry and competitive products.
- Complete special projects and any other duties as assigned.
Role Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in skincare or cosmetic customer service.
- 3+ years of Sales experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, verbal, written and Microsoft Suite skills.
- General office and accurate data entry skills.
- Travel is required: 10%.
- Hybrid on-site work is required.
